Have you noticed them lately? How are they feeling?
Whenever I check in with my body, my feet tell me they need attention. They've been cold, achey, tender, sore. I've been blaming the cold stone floors of my new house, but after a few conversations, I'm not so sure anymore.
In the past few days, I've spoken to a few clients and girlfriends who have serendipitously been feeling called to tune into their feet, as well.
Here's what we've pondered together: there may be something the Earth has to tell us.
Our feet are our connection with the Earth. Like an antenna, they absorb energy and information from the planet, which we register inside our bodies, most perceptively in our bellies.
From there, we can allow this information to come up through our heart and out through our voices... If the Earth could speak, what would she say?
If you connect your feet to the ground—what do you hear? What do you feel?
I hear that the Earth wants to help. We need help. We don't have to do it alone.
All we need to do is stand on her... To take a stand.
I stand in peace, in freedom, in solidarity with sacred sisterhood and heart-centered progress, in total self-love and in visions of a world where we grow by following the light, following what feels good, and following the deep inner wisdom of our bodies and the Earth.
What do you stand for? How do you stand? I invite you to stand with your bare feet on the ground—even if it's cold—and listen.
What do you hear?
